Accommodations

Shearer Cottage consists of six studios each with a private bath and kitchenette, a cozy common living room, wrap-around porches and large yards. We have fans in each unit, but do not have air conditioning. Units can accommodate two to four guests. Rates range from $125 to $300 per night, based on unit size, occupancy and season. Rates quoted below are for one or two guests in a unit. Additional adult guest in room is an additional $25 per night. There is no charge for minor children.  Weekly rates are also available. No smoking is allowed in units and on porches.  For the comfort of all guests, we ask that smoking be confined to the yard areas. Ample free parking is available. Check-in time is 3 PM. Check-out time is 11 AM. Please call with approximate time of arrival. A 50% deposit is required to reserve a studio and may be paid by check, VISA or MasterCard. Deposits will be refunded, if cancellation notice is provided two or more weeks before scheduled arrival date. If less than two week's notice is given, deposits will be forfeited.  All deposits are subject to a $25 service charge, when refunded. We cannot accommodate pets. Complimentary wireless internet access is available.  The entire cottage (all units, outside areas and main living room) may be rented for $1100 per night during summer season and $900 per night during spring and fall seasons.
